I'm using the blogger app on my phone for the first time- hope I do it right.
I'm sitting in a hotel in Smyrna, TN and I guess I must be a little bit lonely. It's just so quiet. Too quiet, and Pitbulls and Parolees are all reruns. I wish Pete was here.
Today I drove all around the Nashville area looking at houses. I found one that feels like it could be home, but there is another family that wants it too. And so it goes!
Pete got a new job... an awesome opportunity/blessing. I'm excited and know its right, it's just a VERY big undertaking and you know how life usually doesn't go all that smooth all the time... because we are suppose to learn and grow... etc. etc. Well, sometimes I feel tired of the process!
Tonight we did FaceTime FHE (family home evening) It was so fun to talk to each of my kids and ask them how their days were, and stick out my tongue and blow them kisses, and sing Preston his goodnight song. FaceTime rules! Then sweet Gracie climbed down off her cage and starting walking through the kitchen toward my voice on the phone to find me... I luv when she searches for me... It's so cute to see a parrot waddling along looking for their human. Gracie tries to get Pete so after we talked a little to eachother on FaceTime, she put her beak to the ground and started to waddle/run after Pete! It made me laugh as he yelled... "she's chasing me! Bye" and hung up!
I love my family! I miss them! After this house hunting week, I'm going to focus on Christmas and having fun with Pete and the kids. Whether I find a home or not, I refuse to be stressed. I'm making that choice right now. The move will happen and everything will fall into place... eventually.
Wow! This is one random post! Too much house hunting today! Merry Christmas everyone! Lol!!
